More Tips for Green Cleaning with Vinegar

Green cleaning at its best! So if you have read any of my previous posts, you know a lot can be done with a little bit of vinegar, which is cheap and non-toxic. Well, here are a few more things!

1. Keep Your Drains Clear: Add some vinegar and baking soda to boiled water and pour slowly down the drains.

2. Mopping Your Floors: Add some vinegar and a bit of lemon juice to some hot water. Use this in the mop bucket or add to your favorite steam cleaner for an excellent, eco-friendly way to mop.

3. Bathroom Cleaning: Get an empty, previously used spray bottle and fill it with 3 parts vinegar and 1 part water. Use this to clean the sinks and toilets, and then use it as a shower/tub spray. Simply spray your shower door, after showering of course, and then wipe it down. You can also use dryer sheets to scrub the shower glass, but make sure you re-wet the sheet often as it dries pretty fast, and rinse immediately. You may need to repeat the steps if it dries too quickly.
