How to Remove Gum from the Bottom of Your Shoe

Most people have stepped on gum at least once in their life, so we all know what a pain it is to try to remove it from the bottom of your shoes. Here are some helpful tips to make it a lot easier to get the gum off:

1. Freeze it or use an ice cube - you can either put your shoe in the freezer until the gum hardens, or hold an ice cube on it. One hard anf frozen, you can easily scrape off the gum with a flat edged tool, like a knife or something similar.

2. Apply Peanut Butter - rub a thick layer of peanut butter on the gum stuck to your shoe and let it sit for about 10 minutes or so. You can use a knife or wire brush to easily scrape off the peanut butter and gum. Be sure to wipe off the bottom of your shoe with some warm water to make sure there is not oil or residue left over.

Note: These ways are also effective in removing gum from clothing or fabric as well!
